DWDR 3b Project Update

𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗪𝗗𝗥 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟯𝗕⚓🏗️ Several operations are ongoing at DWDR Stage 3B with Boskalis Westminster McLaughlin Harvey JV’s sub-contractor Walker Construction are working hard to complete the installation of a sheet-piled cofferdam. This is to enable a safe working space to construct a pump station to accommodate water flows from the existing Southern Water outfall.

Bachy Solentache have also commenced their second mobilisation to site to continue the CFA piling operation which will support the outfall pipework extending from the pump station. Other drainage works are ongoing with the construction of new manholes and installation of large diameter outfall pipework leading to a headwall through the Wick Channel Revetment. The new Wick Channel Road is being built up to formation level as we speak, with F900 slot drains also being installed.🛣️
