Lydden Primary School – New Hall
Project delivery
The project at Lydden Primary School involves demolition of the existing school hall, which is separate from the main school building, construction of a new school hall with linking structure into the main building.
The works involved using Innovare SiPS panels for the main structure, localised earthworks to level the sloping site, a new staff car park, limited refurbishment and remodelling of the main school and new drainage installations including a small geocellular storage tank.

Project details
Woodley Coles were appointed by the Kent County Council (KCC) to support a construction project at Lydden Primary School near Dover. We were asked to provide the full range of quantity surservices including a pre-tender estimate, production of the tender documents for a two stage design and build process, tender analysis, contract drafting and post-contract services.
The works formed part of an ongoing programmeand an example of the education projects that we support as a business.
