OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

At Woodley Coles LLP, we recognise our responsibility to protect the environment and reduce our impact on the planet. Sustainability runs through everything we do — from the way we manage our offices, to how we deliver projects, and the choices we make as a business.

Carbon Reduction & Net Zero

We are committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. To get there, we are working towards an average 5% reduction in emissions every year, supported by:

• Smarter, low-carbon travel solutions
• Transitioning to renewable energy
• Responsible carbon offsetting where required

What We’ve Achieved So Far

• Achieved ISO 14001 certification (since 2023)
• Increased remote working and video conferencing to cut travel
• Promoted paperless working and reduced printer use
• Donated/recycled redundant IT equipment to local causes
  Introduced policies: Environmental, Single Use Plastic, Sustainable Travel

Looking Ahead

• Promoting electric vehicles across the business
• Volunteering & investing in environmental projects
• Continuing to review new government legislation & adapt our targets

Accountability

Our environmental policies and plans are reviewed annually and signed off at Partner level to ensure accountability at the highest level.
